Hone Writing Skills in Faulkner Town

The Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers Workshop

Oxford, MS.

 June 10 to 12, 2011

The Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers Workshop  features craft talks, publishing panels, open mics and social hours, including a trip to the famous Taylor Grocery Catfish in Taylor, MS. Featured faculty include award winning fiction writers John Brandon, Scott Morris and M.O. Walsh, best selling non-fiction author Neil White and celebrated poet and environmental scholar Ann Fisher-Wirth.

All participants will have their work discussed and read by multiple faculty members, making this the best deal this side of the Mason/Dixon. Don’t miss this wonderful weekend in the town Faulkner made famous!

  1. I’ve participated in the Yoknapatawpha workshop for the past three summers and I’m headed back for a fourth time in June. The faculty, manuscript critique sessions, venue, craft talks and social events make for a fabulous and productive weekend!
