The Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers Workshop
Oxford, MS.
June 10 to 12, 2011
The Yoknapatawpha Summer Writers Workshop features craft talks, publishing panels, open mics and social hours, including a trip to the famous Taylor Grocery Catfish in Taylor, MS. Featured faculty include award winning fiction writers John Brandon, Scott Morris and M.O. Walsh, best selling non-fiction author Neil White and celebrated poet and environmental scholar Ann Fisher-Wirth.
All participants will have their work discussed and read by multiple faculty members, making this the best deal this side of the Mason/Dixon. Don’t miss this wonderful weekend in the town Faulkner made famous!

I’ve participated in the Yoknapatawpha workshop for the past three summers and I’m headed back for a fourth time in June. The faculty, manuscript critique sessions, venue, craft talks and social events make for a fabulous and productive weekend!
