The Yokshop

Interested in writing fiction? Memoir? Whether you are a novice or expert, come hone your writing skills at THE YOKSHOP (June 7th-9th), a weekend long writers’ conference in Oxford, Mississippi. Have your work read and discussed by published and critically acclaimed authors in one of America’s great writing towns. This year’s faculty features fiction writers Josh Weil, M.O. Walsh, Scott Morris, and Sean Ennis; poet and nonfiction writer Beth Ann Fennelly; and publicist Stella Connell. The weekend includes workshops, readings, and craft lectures, as well as numerous social events intended to help widen your circle of reading and writing friends. Registration costs $400 and includes admission to all conference events, including a dinner at the world famous Taylor Catfish in Taylor, Mississippi, on Saturday night.
