Molly Hurley Moran received her B.A. in English from Brown University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of New Mexico. She is a retired Professor at the University of Georgia. She is the author of three books, the first two of which were published under the name of Mary Hurley Moran: Margaret Drabble: Existing within Structures (Southern Illinois University Press, 1983); Penelope Lively (Twayne Publishers, 1993); and Finding Susan (Southern Illinois University Press, 2003). The third book is a memoir about the 1994 disappearance and murder of her sister. Dr. Moran has also published numerous academic articles, papers, and book chapters. She lives in Athens, Georgia, with her husband, Mike Moran.
