Emily Hoover

Emily Hoover has been writing poetry, fiction, and nonfiction since the age of 6. Although she spent most of her undergraduate career working and publishing in journalism, she ultimately earned a BA in English in 2012. She is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University (NAU), teaching English, and working on her novel. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, practicing and teaching yoga, taking pictures, and cooking. Emily’s recent publications include poems in Potluck Magazine and FIVE2ONE Magazine. Her fiction has appeared in TheNewerYork Press and The Flagler Review, and she has a story forthcoming in Zero Dark Thirty.
