Come Again No More (Jack Leg Press 2025) by David Williams.

Erstwhile reporter Charley Hull is the latest casualty of a dying industry. It’s an elegy with heart and gallows humor, told in Charley’s lyrical and oft-salty voice. The novel is set in Memphis and steeped in the music of the city and nearby Mississippi Delta. The author, a Kentucky native, spent thirty years as a newspaper reporter and editor in Memphis.

 

 

The Four Stars of Leadership: Scientifically-Derived Principles from the Experiences of America’s Highest-Ranking Leaders by Tom Collins.

Collins interviewed 51 retired Four-Star Generals and Admirals regarding their perspectives on leadership, scientifically analyzed all the transcripts, and shaped it into a leadership framework. He includes the Four-Stars’ illustrative stories from their careers. Collins is a native son of Tennessee and a faculty member at the University of Kentucky.
