Zanna Swann

From as early as she could talk, getting to the who, what, when, where, why, and how were the goals of Zanna Swann – much to her family’s chagrin at times. Because was never an answer, in fact, it then became a challenge. As a distraction, her mom would flip the script and ask Zanna to create her own answers, which then morphed into them challenging one another for the craziest story or the perfect murder mystery. From the fourth-grade until early career retirement, she had her hand in journalism, communication, and story-telling to some extent. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a marketing/business concentration for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University. She enjoys getting to the stories behind the stories and the why’s and how’s within a number genres, subjects, and media. Her hobbies are travelling, reading, genealogy, gardening, birding, and spending time with her family where she continues to ask the questions and seek the stories around each of them.
