Trillium Meeks

Trillium Meeks has loved stories – whether in books, on the screen, or in song form – for as long as she can remember. She defines the epochs of her life by what she was obsessively reading as much as by where she was living. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in English Literature, which – though it has never “paid for itself” – she regrets only because of all the other things she didn’t have time to formally study. She’s a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, whose hobbies include gardening, knitting, beekeeping, chicken wrangling, talking to trees, wood carving, aquarium keeping, reading, writing, microbiology, music, baking, foraging, mycology, herbalism, and collecting cool rocks. After a youth spent in Central America, she has settled down in smalltown Alabama with her son, their Great Pyrenees, an ever-changing assortment of plants, and approximately 25,000 bees.
