Gerald Duff has published 16 books, including novels, collections of short stories and poems, memoirs, and critical studies of literature. His most recent books are a novel, Dirty Rice: A Season in the Evangeline League, and a memoir, Fugitive Days. His work has appeared in the Kenyon Review, Southwest Review, Ploughshares, Georgia Review, Missouri Review, Sewanee Review, The Nation, and other magazines. He is a member of the Texas Institute of Letters.
