Bev Marshall
Bev Marshall grew up in McComb and Gulfport, Mississippi. She holds degrees from the University of Mississippi and Southeastern Louisiana University. She began her writing career during the years her husband served in the US Air Force, writing lifestyle pieces for military publications and various magazines.
After living in Mildenhall, England, for three years, Bev and her husband returned to the States where she began publishing short stories. Her stories have appeared in Stories From the Blue Moon Café and The Alumni Grill anthologies.
Her first novel, Walking Through Shadows, was published in 2002. It was followed by Right as Rain : A Novel in 2003.
Bev serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Williams New Orleans Literary Festival, is a member of the St. Tammany Writers Group and the co-founder of the Southeastern Louisiana University Writers Group. She is also the Writer-in-Residence at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Marshall lives with her husband in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Her third novel, Hot Fudge Sundae Blues is set to to hit the bookstores in August, 2005.
